Our first mission trip to Love Children's Home (LCH) in  Myanmar  was in 2014.  When the  2020 pandemic and the 2021 military coup closed that trip for our church  we were kept  out of the country for several years. We prayed and  watched, heartbroken, as Covid and chaos took lives and dreams from the people we loved.

But God is faithful!  We were able to resume travel to Myanmar  for Christmas of 2023.  Although the church program was shut down, God has continued to allow our family to bring partnership, ministry and supplies to a network of 500 orphans , a widow's home and the surrounding villages.  

 We visit over  Christmas because that is the only day we can legally preach the gospel in Myanmar.   In addition to supplies, we partner with the orphanage  network to put on a huge outreach at Christmas that feeds and ministers to several thousand surrounding villagers.   So many come to Christ and ask for healing! It is a huge endeavor that was halted  during the period we were unable to enter the country.   

But it is really the brave leaders of LCH, their heart for the lost and to raise  up this next generation in Myanmar that has captured our hearts.

"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

God hasn't forgotten Myanmar, and neither have we.

There are vey few deep ports in Myanmar.   All donations will be hand carried to their destination by our team - no middle management involved!
